mysta terms — in plain English

Be 18 or older. Do not upload clothes that are not yours. Your photos and outfits remain yours; mysta only processes them to run the service for you. Outfit suggestions are suggestions, not guarantees. You may leave anytime. The sections below expand those rules.

  • Your photos stay yours. You only give us the limited permission we need to store and process them to run the app.
  • Suggestions are suggestions. Outfit recommendations and body analysis can be wrong, and aren't professional, medical, or health advice.
  • Be 18+, be respectful. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and don't misuse the service.
  • Paid features are billed through Apple. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel in your App Store settings; we never see your card details.
  • The app is provided "as is", with no warranties and limited liability.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Siar Innovations Inc., a Delaware corporation ("mysta", "we", "us") covering your use of the mysta app and related services. By creating an account or using mysta, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. If you don't agree, please don't use mysta.

1. Who can use mysta

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. By using mysta, you confirm that you meet this requirement. One account per person; keep your login credentials secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. The service

mysta is a personal styling app available on the Apple App Store. Like any software service:

  • Features may be updated, improved, or adjusted as we develop the product.
  • The service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or unforeseen issues.
  • We may limit usage (for example, processing volume) to keep the service reliable for everyone.
  • Keep your own copies of any photos you care about — you can export or delete your data at any time.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Some mysta features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Where that's the case:

  • Billing is handled by Apple. All purchases are made through your Apple App Store account under Apple's payment terms. We never receive your payment card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Prices may change. If we change the price of an existing subscription, we'll notify you in advance and the change will only apply at your next renewal — you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
  • Free trials and free tiers are offered at our discretion and may change or end; we'll give you notice before previously free features become paid.
  • Prices may not include taxes, which Apple collects where applicable.

4. Shopping and affiliate links

mysta may suggest items you can purchase from third-party retailers to complete your closet. Where that's available:

  • Retailers are the seller, not us. Purchases are made on the retailer's site or app under their terms. We are not responsible for product quality, accuracy of listings, pricing, availability, shipping, returns, or customer service — those are between you and the retailer.
  • We may earn affiliate commissions when you buy through links in mysta, at no extra cost to you. We'll disclose where links are commissionable.
  • Suggestions are styling guidance, not endorsements. AI-generated product matches may be inaccurate (wrong size, color, or availability) — verify details on the retailer's site before buying.
  • Retailers and affiliate networks may use their own cookies or tracking when you visit their sites; their privacy policies apply there. What we send them is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your content and our license

You keep full ownership of everything you upload — your photos, your closet, your messages ("Your Content").

To run the app, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, analyze, and display Your Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the mysta service for you — for example, storing your photos, sending them to our AI provider for analysis, and generating your outfit suggestions. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for short-lived backup copies that are purged on a rolling basis.

We will never use Your Content for advertising, sell it, or share it publicly.

You are responsible for Your Content. Only upload photos you took or have the right to use, and only upload photos of other people with their permission.

6. AI features — important disclaimers

  • Outfit suggestions, photo tagging, body analysis, avatars, and stylist chat are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to you.
  • Nothing in mysta is professional advice of any kind — including medical, health, nutrition, psychological, or body-image advice. Body analysis is a rough visual estimate for styling purposes only.
  • Use your own judgment. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the app's suggestions.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or images of people who haven't consented (and never of minors);
  • Upload nude or sexually explicit images — mysta is for styling clothed photos, and explicit content will be rejected and may result in account termination;
  • Use mysta to harass, deceive, or harm others;
  • Attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt our systems, or bypass usage limits;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or resell the service or its AI outputs as a competing product;
  • Use the service with automated tools or for any purpose other than personal styling.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Our intellectual property

The mysta app, its design, software, branding, and styling system belong to Siar Innovations Inc. and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. Outfit suggestions generated for you are yours to use personally.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (including photos, optional body data, and approximate location), how our AI provider processes it, and how to delete it. It's part of these Terms — please read it.

10. Termination

You can stop using mysta at any time and delete your account in Settings, which permanently erases your data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate your access without cause while you have an active paid subscription, your remedy is a pro-rata refund of the unused period, requested through Apple. Sections 5 (license wind-down), 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

mysta is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI outputs will be accurate or reliable. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Siar Innovations Inc. and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) mysta — including loss of photos or content, and including purchases you make from third-party retailers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Siar Innovations Inc. harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from Your Content (for example, a photo you didn't have the right to upload) or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Apple App Store terms

If you use mysta on an Apple device:

  • These Terms are between you and Siar Innovations Inc., not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or for addressing claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims.
  • You must also comply with Apple's Media Services Terms and the App Store terms of use.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at hello-mysta@siarinnovations.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from using small-claims court.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as mysta evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. For material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect; continuing to use mysta after that means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the app and delete your account.

17. General

These Terms (plus the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us about mysta. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
